Workers’ Compensation Paralegal
We are seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Paralegal to join our team. Candidates should be professional, motivated, and able to manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment with a top producer. Some duties include but are not limited to handling tasks on workers’ compensation claims, including file organization, noticing depositions, discovery, compliance with state regulations, and preparation of documents. Client contact is the center of our firm and therefore a necessity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Workers’ compensation experience desired but not required.

- Strong technological skills to include knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with other employees, opposing counsel and clients.
- Perform duties with accuracy, quality, great attention to detail and integrity.
- Effective at multi-tasking and prioritizing assignments.
- Work independently while using appropriate level of discretion.
- Detail oriented.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in new settings and situation is a must.
- Strong interpersonal skills and respectful attitude towards clients and team members.
Duties Include:
- Organize and analyze files electronically.
- Prepare written reports, correspondence, subpoenas, forms and other documents as directed.
- Interact with clients and opposing counsel as necessary.
- Assist attorneys in preparation for hearings.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and good judgment.
Job Type & Salary:
- Full time; From $21.00 per hour
