Jeffrey is an Associate Attorney at Shelly Leeke Law Firm. He joined the firm in the summer of 2020. Jeffrey works in the pre–litigation department, with his work emphasis on personal injury. Prior to joining the firm, Jeffrey worked at a boutique law firm in Charleston, handling both Plaintiff and Defense work.
Jeffrey grew up on Long Island and went on to graduate from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. After college, Jeffrey worked as a paralegal for six years in New York City and then in Charleston. After moving south, Jeffrey decided to attend Charleston School of Law. During law school, Jeffrey maximized every opportunity to get involved. Jeffrey served as a Legal Research and Writing Fellow to first-year students in addition to being a Research Assistant to a Civil Procedure Professor. Jeffrey was also selected for membership in the Moot Court Board, as well as the Charleston Law Review, where he served as Editor-in-Chief in his last year of law school. When not attending lectures or traveling to a Moot Court Competition, Jeffrey worked at a large variety of law firms, learning a little about everything—from Federal Employment law to State Personal Injury matters. He also externed with The Honorable David C. Norton in the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.
Jeffrey was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2019 and has enjoyed practicing ever since. Jeffrey lives on Johns Island with his fiancé, and when not in the office, he can be found cheering on his favorite basketball team or searching out the best pizza in town. Jeffrey is very excited to join Shelly Leeke Law Firm and looks forward to representing you.
