Chip is an Associate Attorney at the Shelly Leeke Law Firm where he is the head of the Social Security Disability department. He also devotes his time to practicing in the Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation departments. Before joining the Shelly Leeke Law Firm team, Chip spent five years working for the Social Security Administration’s Office of Disability Adjudication and Review in Greenville, SC. From 2010-2015, he evaluated Social Security Disability benefits claims and wrote opinions for Administrative Law Judges all over the country.
Chip attended Winthrop University where he graduated Cum Laude in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He was then enrolled in the second class at the Charleston School of Law where he graduated in 2009. While in law school, Chip was a member of the mock trial team from 2007-2009 in which he competed in competitions across the country. During law school, he spent his days working at Nexsen Pruet in the litigation department while attending classes at night.
In his free time, Chip is active in multiple sports and loves maintaining his status as the best uncle ever by spoiling his nieces and nephews. You can also find him rooting on the Clemson Tigers football team.
